AS/NZS 3013 is a classification system which defines the performance of a Wiring System (WS). The classification

system prefix is 'WS' followed by two numerals and cables are subected to fire at 1050ºC from 15mins to 120mins meawhile Impact Test

from 2.5J to 5000J and Cutting Test from 0.3kN to 5.0kN about the level of protection range from light duty to extremely duty.

 

 

 

A supplementary letter W. ie.Cables,the 'W' suffix denotes the wiring system's capability to maintaining circuit integrity when subjected to water spray immediately

following a fire for a further 3 mins.
